So! 2:15 in the morning and I have to open at work tomorrow. Awesome! As you can see, I have a bad habit of updating this. What is something new that is going on. Absolutely nothing! My life is just as average as normal. Judging by my last few posts, I haven't really gotten around to telling you much. So let's see what I can let you in on.
So that June 13th post I was talking about Myspace and how it'll start to dominate. It did. For a while. In my opinion, it is definitely not as fun as it used to be. That's how I spent my time was playing on there, talking to friends, looking at pictures. Out of nowhere, BAM Facebook. That's where we are now in life. Everyone has a Facebook. Friends, family, coworkers and even our parents and managers. Facebook is now how I spend my time pretty much. That camping trip I mentioned, it happened. I drove my 95 Saturn SC1 packed with supplies and people along with Roberts Nissan Sentra also packed with supplies and people and we drove to Oklahoma. That was the worst planned out trip ever but worked out when you look back on it. Sure my car broke down nearly two hours from home and that night was horrible, but all in all, it was worth it. And this past June in 2009 some of us went on another camping tripe. This time it was in New Braunfels. We spent way more money than the first time because here we planned out everything. Out of, I believe, 12 people, we each brought $100 and got back $6. Not too bad. Camping, floating down the river, 42 inch pizza. Good stuff.
I told you I wanted to be a massage therapist and go to college and do something with my life. I also put that I wanted a job as a valet or work at a movie theater. Little did I know, a movie theater is where I'd end up ... six jobs later. I'm also not in college. Not sure if you can tell where I'm going with my life, because I obviously can't. Let's go through my list of jobs and approximate dates. Frys Electronics - Cafe Associate Sep. 06 - Jan. 07. Forever 21 - Sales Associate (I actually got promoted to Assistant Manager my third week there but couldn't stand the place) Apr. 07 - May 07. Polytronix - PDLC production (My favorite job, also where I broke my hand) Nov. 07 - Mar. 08. Toyota of Richardson - Porter (Kinda close to a valet, right?) Apr. 08 - Aug. 08. Bank of America - Account Manager Oct. 08 - Nov. 08. Cinemark Legacy - Everything? I'm trained in all departments, but mainly a projectionist. May 09 - Now. That's my work life the past few years.
Oh! Something really important to me. I don't think I mentioned anywhere previous to this that I drive a 92 yellow Toyota MR2. The love of my life! I bought it while working at Frys. I believe December 29, 2006. Christmas present to myself. And I've been thinking about this for the past year or so, but I'm hoping to get the money and make it a bit faster. Either way, I'm in love with it.
On to the September 5th post. Kind of explains itself. I was in a left turn lane and pulled out in front of a lady because I'm dumb. Totaled my car and hers, but no injuries except for my burnt palm and finger tips. The whole Emily deal. I really liked her, a lot actually. But I guess the feeling wasn't mutual. After we broke up, we didn't talk for a really long time. Two ish years. She'll pop up sometimes out of nowhere but then disappear again. She actually found me on Facebook and I ended up going to see her. Only for a few minutes, but it was nice. That was months ago though. My next major relationship was Allyssa. I really enjoyed what we had but things came up that I'd rather not talk about haha. We both moved on. She just did a little quicker than me. We used to talk for a while but then stopped. As of right now, it's been a few months since we've talked. Oh well.
So I've tried to catch you up on everything. There's nothing crazy awesome going on and I'm ok with that. I'm right now working full time and figuring things out as I go. I have almost the exact same friends I did when I first started writing in here which is nice and I've made plenty of new friends along the way. This is where I'd tell you what my future goals are, but I honestly don't know. I'm sure I could say find a job that I can keep and make decent money and find a girl that makes me happy that I could eventually marry, but that's just too cliche. Things come and go. Just live life as it comes at you.
Wow, so many extra options down there. Including ... publish to Facebook. Look at that. We'll just uncheck that box. I hope everyone has a great night and maybe I'll try and update this more often. That being less than a year from now.
